We All Remember Our First…

It Can Be Intimidating. We Get It.

We’ve Broken Down The Process For You.

  • Determine Budget

The first step in the home-buying process is to determine how much you can afford to spend on a home. You'll need to consider your income, expenses, and other financial obligations.

  • Saving Down Payment

Determine how much you need to save for a down payment based on the purchase price of the home you want to buy. Typically, lenders require a down payment of 3% to 20% of the home's purchase price.

  • Pre-Approval

By getting pre-approved, you'll have a clear understanding of how much you can afford to spend on a home. This can help you narrow down your search to properties that fit within your budget. This will be needed to submit any offers on most listings.

  • Search For Home Begins

Determine your needs and wants. Before you start your search, it's important to determine what you need and want in a home. Consider factors such as location, size, number of bedrooms, and amenities.

  • Submit Offer & Negotiate Contract

Submitting an offer on a property is a key step in the home-buying process. NXTLVL Agents are skilled in obtaining the price that satisfies both parties, as well as negotiating the terms of the transaction for our buyer’s benefit.

  • Offer Accepted

At this stage, the Earnest Money Deposit would be made out to the Escrow Company, and the Residential Purchase Agreement is now officially binding.

  • Open Escrow

The timeline for escrow opening begins once the seller accepts the buyer's offer. The buyer & seller will typically sign escrow instructions, outlining the terms of the transaction and any contingencies that must be met. At this phase title search & inspection will be ordered.

  • Close Escrow, Congratulations

The close of escrow is the final step in the process. It is the point at which all of the necessary paperwork and funds are exchanged, and the title of the property is Transferred & Recorded from the seller to the buyer.
